American Guitar and Drum Maker's 125^thAnniversary

President Fred W. Gretsch, direct fourth-generation descendant of company founder Friedrich Gretsch spoke to attendees first-hand about the colorful history of the Gretsch company.  The Gretsch 125^th Anniversary Celebration was a free special event designed to bring local guitarists, drummers and music lovers together while commemorating The Gretsch Company's 125^th anniversary this year.  World-renowned celebrated jazz guitarist/composer Bobby Sabellico performed.

We are very excited to announce that Dick DiCenso's article, And the Beat Goes On..., will be published in the forthcoming October issue of Modern Drummer and on their online blog!  It is an honor to see RD's wisdom published in the finest educational drumming magazine in the world!

Brett Baron (instructor Dick DiCenso) of North Easton, MA who auditioned and made 1st Chair Snare Drum in the Senior South Easton Mass School Band Association (SEMSBA).

Tim Maxwell (instructor Dick DiCenso) of Middleboro, MA who auditioned and made 1st Chair Snare Drum in the Senior South Easton Mass Senior Districts.

Zack Rego (instructor Dick DiCenso) of Portsmouth, RI who recently performed at Berklee College of Music and received the Berklee College of Music Judges Choice Award for the 2008 High School Jazz Festival.

Isaac Lit (instructor Dick DiCenso) of Randolph, MA recently auditioned & received 1st Chair in the Junior District Jazz Band.

Eric George (instructor John Kerr) of Bridgewater, MA who auditioned and made 1st Chair Snare Drum in the Senior South Easton Mass School Band Association (SEMSBA).
